The Galway Tour Company offer creative, fun and informative day tours to the most popular sites such as the Cliffs of Moher in The Burren, Kylemore Abbey in Connemara, but we also strive to include some lesser known but equally as beautiful locations such as Cong village and smaller towns such as Lisdoonvarna and Kilfenora.
Located in Galway City and operating tours to protected landscapes and ecologically sensitive areas, we also strive to promote awareness of these issues and to promote sensitive eco-friendly tours.
The Galway Tour Company's Team is:
Ray Murray: Ray, a Galway native, has been leading tour groups to Connemara for almost 20 years as a driver/guide and is well known for his humour and fondness for sheep.
Des Murray: Father to Ray, and head driver/guide at the Galway Tour Company, Des was born, bred and buttered in Galway and has extensive touring experience under his belt and is known locally as ‘The King of the Burren’.
Christie Maloney: Christie, a Co. Galway native, is the Galway Tour Company's mascot and is wheeled out now & then to bring laughter and joy to the masses on tour.
Declan Somers: Declan, a blow-in from Co. Carlow, a walking guide & lake monster hunter, is the Galway Tour Company's internet guru and a rock of sense when compared to the above.
